Geraldine, Lake Tekapo, Pukaki

Lunch was at roadside stop near Fairlea town. Elms, ash, willows with orange twigs about to leaf, white and pink blossoms on trees. Lots of daffodils. Snow on alps that seemed to fringe every view. Reflections in Lake Tekapo National Park at Mt cook; a great place to stay with excellent camp kitchen [commercial] and large lounge dining area heated by a cosy conara wood heater. Nice evening as we all cooked our meals and had drinks and good conversations. Lake Pukaki had provided us with great views as we drove along it to get to the conservation park.
