Skytrek is a fabulous 4wd track, which, as its name suggests, has lots of spectacular
scenery. The trip takes a good six hours without the optional side trip to Skull Rock.
There are some relatively steep rocky sections. Some 4wding experience is required &
you are required to have started the trip prior to 10am. Current cost is $75
per vehicle.
As well as Skytrel at Willow Springs many homesteads have their own 4wd
adventures. Many, however, were closed because of damage to their roads and would
not re-open until they could get a grader in to do some repairs.

a conservation group under the auspices of
the SA Sporting Shooters Association has
purchased public land used by the track &
has raised the bar on access pricing beyond
what Willow Springs is prepared to pay.

route.
