After a stint in the bush it was time to clean up & refuel as well as check out some of the tracks around Arkaroola. Unfortunately the weather has closed quite a few roads so instead of pressing on we will start heading home.

The Arkaroola village is owned by the Sprigg family. It was purchased by Reg Sprigg (wiki and lumen), well known for his work in the Ediacara Hills. There is a public observatory which, unfortunately, was closed each time we have been there due to cloud cover and a very good collection of rocks and artefacts. Check out also the photos by Peter MacDonald who runs photography courses in the area.
