Gunnawarra Road After leaving Lake Tinaroo we headed south to Mt Garnet where we met a pack of about 50 trail bikers, one of whom knew the back roads of the area quite well. We were enquiring about the Gunnawarra road which went through the Valley of the Lagoons. He advised that the road was open (later confirmed by the local policeman) and that the road connected with The Lynd road which was an excellent choice for getting to Hughenden. Wow! Was he right? The signage on the road was interesting. Anything seemed to be OK.
