In Charleville we stayed in a caravan park while Rob's radiator was repaired. A new radiator had to be transported in, so a
stay of two nights was required.
Observatory
Charleville boasts a public observatory where they have three 12 inch telescopes. We went to a session but, unfortunately,
the weather was bad and observation was limited. We did get to see the Jewell Box (quite spectacular), Saturn and the Dog
Star. A visit on a good night is highly recommended. (Because of the weather they did not charge us).
Bilby Sanctuary
Because of another commitment we did not get to see the Bilby Sanctuary but it did come highly recommended by many. We
hope to see it on the way back if we pass through Charleville.
(Late note: We did not come back through Charleville)
