Wilsons Promontory

We camped at Waratah Bay for our stay at the Prom and did day trips to Walkerville South, Second Beach, Squeaky Beach and .

Waratah Bay

The caravan park at Waratah Bay has a large proportion of its sites as permanents. Our site backed onto the beach and had a resident Blackbird who sang his songs from the tree next to our van. There were many parrots as well; these were well used to people feeding them and were happy to land on the head and arms of anybody prepared to feed them.

Walkerville

On a later trip to the area we stayed at the Walkerville Foreshore Camping Reserve

Fish Creek

While staying at Waratah Bay we went into Fish Creek for dinner and dined at Fish Creek Hotel and Kooks Catering. Both meals were superb.

Whisky Creek

Whisky Creek flows into Whisky Bay and is a Must Visit for anybody visiting Wilsons Promontory. Any photographer or painter will revel in the lighting that can be experienced here.
